If you don’t smile, you are at the wrong place or are with the wrong personFirst published 10 months ago
Recently I came across and interesting comment. It said “If you don’t smile or laugh at least once during sex, you’re not having sex with the right person“. Well, thinking about it, not only is that true but moreover it can be applied to almost every moment or situation in our daily life. Honestly, I never thought about it previously.
If you don’t smile or laugh at least once during sex, you’re not having sex with the right person.
But then, of course I said to myself, isn’t it that I believe that whatever I do should make other people in one way or another “happy”. Whether it is a smile you bring on someone’s face or whether it is a feeling of comfort or simply a moment of listening, it all serves the same purpose, to bring happiness back, get away with sorrow and sadness, but instead focus on the positive side of life, the side which makes us smile.
In contrast, we should let go of someone, even our dearest friend, lover or partner, if we notice that we are no longer able to bring a smile into their life.
As young kids we smile, because we worry less, we are not yet experiencing the challenges ahead, we still remain in the comfort of our childhood, our parents and our family. Well at least this has been the experience for most of us, knowing that not all children have such good experience, unfortunately some don’t have a good memory about their time as a child. Even more, we should embrace in making others happy, bringing a smile on someone’s face.
In contrast, we should let go of someone, even our dearest friend, lover or partner, if we notice that we are no longer able to bring a smile into their life. We should accept that perhaps by retreating ourselves a smile may return to them.
